Nothing says it's the weekend like a leisurely, midday meal. So, we’re highlighting some of the delicious brunch spots found here in Kitsap County and beyond. From Edmonds to Gig Harbor, you’re going to want to put these restaurants on your must-visit list. With menu items ranging from Stout Beef Benedict to Apple Streusel French Toast, reading this list is sure to make you hungry.

Café Hitchcock  on Bainbridge Island

Now open seven days a week, Café Hitchcock serves weekday breakfast with items like avocado toast, overnight oats, fresh pastries, and a deluxe breakfast sandwich. On weekends, you can find expanded menu offerings such as Shakshuka and brunch Benedicts including  Baja and Kimcheese (made with Hitchcock Foods' kimchi). Beet salad, sandwiches, and a garden bowl round out their lunch menu. Additionally, Hitchcock is known for using fresh, seasonal produce grown on Bainbridge and food sourced from local farms and fishing vessels.

D'Vine Wines in Kingston

In November of 2022, D’Vine Wines began working with the chef from Port Gamble’s Scratch Kitchen to start offering a wonderful Sunday brunch. While many were sad that Scratch Kitchen closed, D’Vine’s new Sunday brunch is a delightful silver lining. They have delectable items like Banana Bread French Toast, Apple Streusel French Toast, Crab and Portabella Eggs Benedict. And of course, there are many fun wine and mimosa options to try.

Oak Table Cafe in Silverdale

Third-generation restaurateurs, the owners of the Oak Table Cafe in Silverdale modeled the restaurant after their parents’ original location in Sequim, which is known as a regional favorite. Their most famous dish is their Apple Pancake, a 3” tall souffle-style pancake topped with apples and a cinnamon-sugar glaze. On the savory side you’ll find omelettes, scrambles, potato pancakes, naturally gluten-free buckwheat pancakes, and corned-beef hash. They offer a variety of espresso drinks as well as breakfast cocktails and mimosas.

Salt & Iron in Edmonds

Located in the heart of downtown Edmonds, Salt & Iron is just a quick ferry ride from Kingston, and it’s walking distance from the ferry terminal. Their elevated brunch menu includes Surf & Turf with filet mignon and crab. Other mouth-watering meals include the Brunch Burger topped with hollandaise and Beecher's cheese or the Delicata & Mushroom (whipped chévre, squash, pickled peppers, and crimini mushrooms). Additionally, Salt & Iron has a kid's menu offering younger customers meals like a grilled cheese or a breakfast sandwich. On the “liquid brunch” menu, try their excellent cocktails. We recommend the “Sunny Day Real Estate”.
