Mother’s Day Events Across Kitsap & Beyond

Whether you enjoy celebrating Mother's Day with a traditional brunch or you're looking for more unique ideas, we have lots of options here in our area. Kitsap County and neighboring communities offer many great local businesses, parks, and much more. We love showing our local pride, so we hope these fun ideas below will help you plan a very special day for the mothers and motherly figures in your life.

Plan Ahead

Treat Her to This Sweet Tea To Go

Order everything you need for a fancy tea party at home. Or, make it a picnic at your favorite beach or park. These adorable kits from Sweet Life Cakery in Kingston come with shortbread, a gourmet tea, and one of their famous sweet bliss cakes. Purchase them for the incredible mothers in your life, or treat yourself!

Order by May 7th to pick up on May 11th.

Cost: $15 per kit (gluten free also available)

Make a Museum Memory

Plan a trip to the The Suquamish Museum  between May 5th and 12th to learn more about  the rich heritage of the Suquamish people. While you're there, you can make a special Mother’s Day card. Also, the museum gift shop is a great place to find a beautiful gift for mom.

Museum Hours: Wednesday to Sunday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Cost: $6 to $8 per person. Children under 5 and Suquamish tribal members are free.

Get Theatrical

Spend the day at the theater watching “The Little Mermaid”, performed by Kitsap Children’s Musical Theatre. You can attend the show on Mother’s Day, or give her tickets to see it on another day. There's nothing like a live production!

Celebrate with a Delicious Brunch

Get Jazzy for a Special Brunch

EDEN Nightclub in Bremerton is hosting award-winning singer/songwriter Eugenie Jones and her fabulous jazz quartet for a special brunch that is sure to be memorable. Your ticket includes your first mimosa and a full menu will be available. This event is only for those 21 and up. Tickets are advance purchase only, so snag them while you can.

Cost: $20 per person, 21+ Only

Experience McCormick Woods' Annual Mother's Day Brunch

Enjoy the beauty of the McCormick Woods Golf Club at their annual Mother’s Day brunch. The menu (PDF) includes all of your favorite brunch items plus lemon dill salmon and rib eye with horseradish. Indulge in a variety of desserts including petit fours, mousse and cream pies. Reservations are required. Please call (360) 895-0142.

Cost: $28 (adults), $14 (children), and kids under 5 are free

Get Creative

Connect with Cool Moms in Gig Harbor

If you’re looking for a unique way to celebrate Mother’s Day, consider driving to Gig Harbor for this "Cool Moms Event" which features fine line tattoos, piercings, permanent jewelry, hat making, and beauty items. Hosted by Harborview Rest & Restore, this is a vendor collective with a la carte pricing and the event will feature drinks and snacks.

Go to a Family-friendly Dueling Pianos Show

Also in Gig Harbor, this show is a fun way for the whole family to see dueling pianos perform live. This will be a one-of-a-kind family show with Disney and top 40 sing-along hits.

Sunday, May 12th, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Cost: $25 - $40 per person

Celebrate with a Mother’s Day Community Gathering

Experience a relaxing day at Petal & Pitchfork Farm. There will be live music by Kristen Ferguson and Anne Mathews of Bannister & Maine, sound baths by Heather Carnocki of Vinnocki Farm, a floral arranging demonstration by Alicia Houston of The Healer's Harvest, and a medicinal herb talk by Montana Honeylion of Warrior Peak Botanicals. You can bring a picnic lunch and check out the flower fields, appreciating all that mother nature has to offer. Tickets are limited.

Sunday, May 12th, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Cost: $20 for each participant over 16 years old
